Abstract
Information from the Business Ethics Guide states, “This Plain Language Guide to Ethical Business Conduct ("Guide") covers a wide range of business practices and procedures. It does not cover every issue that may arise, but it does set out basic principles to guide all employees, officers, and directors of companies transacting business with the State of New Jersey. Obeying the law, both in letter and spirit, is the foundation on which a company's ethical standards are built. All company employees, officers, and directors must respect and obey the laws and regulations of the agencies with which they operate. Contracting parties will be required to certify that they have complied with all applicable laws and regulations governing the provision of State services, including the Conflicts of Interest Law, N.J.S.A. 52:13D12 to -28.”
