Susan Ursin Niemcewicz wrote from Ursino, Elizabethtown, NJ addressed to Peter Kean, her son, at Butternuts, Otsego County, NY. Although just addressed to Peter, the salutation on the letter reads "My dear children" implying the letter was for Sarah, Peter's wife as well. She sent her best to Sarah's family, who they were visiting and remarked on the activity in Elizabethtown as they prepared for a wedding.
