Julian Ursin Niemcewicz wrote from Warsaw, Poland to John Kean and Julia Ursin Niemcewicz Kean, his grandchildren, addressed to Elizabethtown, NJ. He wrote to express his sympathy over the loss of their father. He wrote to John to endeavor in his life to be like his father and that even when Julian is dead he will always be welcome in Poland as family. He wrote to Julia about the prospect of her coming to Europe and all he would give her there. He told her in the meantime to mind her mother and grandmother's health.
