Description
This presentation will discuss broad OER strategy and specific OER implementation in the Accounting program at Saint Peter’s University, a small, urban, Jesuit university in Jersey City, NJ. For three years, the O’Toole Library, Provost’s Office, and Office of Faculty Development have fostered a campus-wide OER initiative, informed by the Saint Peter’s University mission and the Jesuit charisms. Presenters will discuss the goals of this initiative, the challenges of transitioning to open textbooks, and the role OER plays in advocating for our students.
