About Institutional Repositories

Kean University has implemented " Kean Digital Learning Commons (KDLC)" to collect, preserve, archive, and make accessible scholarly and creative works, research data, and other materials produced by the faculty, staff, and students of Kean University. KDLC will serve as a common repository for all Open Educational Resources.

Institutional Repositories (IRs) combine all of a University's research under one umbrella to preserve and provide access to that research. IRs are excellent for working papers or copies of published articles and conference papers. Presentations, senior theses, and other works not published elsewhere can also be published in the IR.

Open Educational Resources (OER) are free resources available under the public domain or made available for free under a free license. OER may include books, chapters, articles, presentations, videos, audio, courses, and more. All content on Kean's Digital Commons is under the public domain and openly accessible.

For Authors: It is recommended to include Creative Commons (CC) attributes to all the publications published on Kean's Digital Commons. Please click here to access the CC website. If you would like support in publishing using the CC attribute please get in touch with Learningcommons@kean.edu

If you have any questions or want to use KDLC for your research work please email learningcommons@kean.edu
