Alexander Chisolm wrote from Charleston to John Kean, addressed to Beaufort, SC. He had received John's letter sent by Elliot Noman and forwarded letters to New York, including those to Mr. Livingston. He wrote about crops and said Thomas Riveu(?) on James Island planted cotton, but it turned out indifferently.
