Jacob wrote about certificates. Names included: Bowman, McEvers, [William] Stephens, [John Faucherand] Grimke, Colonel John L. B. [illegible], Tubly, and the widow.
In the postscript, Jacob said his brother, George Paddon Read, will visit Philadelphia and visit John.
