Abstract
According to the Uniform Ethics Code, No State officer or employee or special State officer or employee shall accept any gift, favor, service or other thing of value related in any way to the State official’s public duties. The Ethics Liaison Officer (ELO) ensures that when and if an employee receives a gift that they immediately notifies the Ethics Office. Kean University has also taken the extra step of stopping anything that makes it look like a gift or delivery in our Mail Services and delivers it to the Ethics Office instead of the Employee.
