Abstract
The graphic communications industry is faced with various challenges while finding skilled workers in the field with many people retiring from or leaving the job. Various industry experts have resolved the issue of skilled labor shortage by changing the perception of the people regarding the printing industry. Potential graphic arts students must experience advanced printing equipment first-hand to understand how printing can be exciting and fast-paced. The printing associations are working to reach next generation in the places they congregate online, including social networking sites. Special graphics program are being designed to recruit young people into the industry by developing a document about printing, which contains updated information about the industry and its educational and training programs.
