Description
Philip Livingston in New York, NY wrote to John Kean, addressed to Philadelphia, PA. The ship Eagle arrived from London. British stocks rose on the prospects of peace. There was an absence of money in New York. Prices at which to sell notes were too low. People included: Mrs. Ricketts, Mrs. Livingston. Places included: Bank of New York Notable Quote: "the Indiamen [ships] have got almost all our Dollars."
