Description

Philip Livingston in New York, NY wrote to John Kean, addressed to Philadelphia, PA. Money is scarce. People withdrew gold from banks, that were rumored to be provisions for France. He was unable to buy South Carolina debt at sums requested. People included: Mrs. Livingston, Mrs. Ricketts, Mr. Ricketts, Nanny Bayard, Peter Kean, Susan Kean, John Lawrence. Places included: South Carolina.
