Description

Philip Livingston of New York, NY wrote to John Kean, addressed to Philadelphia, PA. Smallpox strikes Livingston's farm, killing the overseer. Stock prices rose on news from Europe. He discussed business. The weather was cold. People included: Mr. Simpson, Mr. Ludlow, Foxe, Jackson, Susan Kean, [Ann "Nancy"] Bayard, Catharine Bayard, Robert Morris, Livingston's sisters.
