Description

John Faucheraud Grimké in Charleston, SC, wrote to Susan Kean, unaddressed. Grimké wrote to Susan about Peter. He was satisfied that she had placed Peter under the protection of a clergyman and told Susan to send a power of attorney letter to Mr. Smith so that he may transfer property in her name. People included: Mrs. Grimké, Peter Kean, Mr. Smith, Grimké boys. Places included: New York, Philadelphia.
