Description

Gustavus Risberg in Philadelphia, PA, wrote to Susan Kean, addressed at New York, NY. Risberg attempted to renegotiate rent with Mr. Willing who refused to pay more. A former servant took the textile with him. The Congress debated passing the treaty with England, if they accepted it, there would be greater confidence in the market. People included: Mr. Willing, Mr. Burrall, Peter Kean, unnamed ex-servant, Capt. McCray. Places included: England, Congress.
