Charles Tew wrote from Charlestown, South Carolina to Susan U. Niemcewicz in Elizabethtown, New Jersey. Tew informed Susan that at a recent meeting of the members of the Catawba & Wateree Navigation Company, they resolved that all shares that were not paid in full by the 1^st of March would be forfeited. Asked Susan to inform him whether she intended to support them.
