Julian Niemcewicz wrote to Susan Kean, addressed to New York City, NY. He explained to Susan that he was preparing to send her son, Peter, to her location. He wrote how he would not be able to accompany Peter on his travels as he had to look over the garden. Additionally, he updated Susan on the status of various plants and his activities pertaining to the garden.
