Description

Beaumanoir De Laforest wrote from Paris, France to Susan Niemcewicz in Elizabethtown, New Jersey. Mrs. De Laforest received Susan’s letter by Mr. Livingston and his acquaintance was an agreeable one. Concerned over Mrs. P. Livingston’s anxiousness for her younger son. Mr. De Laforest was always embellishing his estate and happy in his county life. Mrs. De Laforest’s daughter (Marie Caroline de La Forest) had three beautiful little girls and was pregnant with another baby. Her health suffered greatly during her pregnancies. Discussed further about mutual acquaintances and friends.
