Description

Peter Kean wrote from Ursino to Mary Morris, his mother-in-law, addressed to Butternuts, Otsego County, NY. Peter expressed sympathy for a loss in the family and drew a comparison to Mary Mother of God's grief. The letter is possibly referring to the death of Mary's son, William Augustus Morris, but he is not named in the letter.
