E.B. Houstoun wrote from The Refuge to Peter Kean, his cousin, addressed to Elizabeth Town, NJ. He wrote regarding his and John McIntosh Madison's shares from the estate of Mr. and Mrs. Houstoun. He gave his uncle full control over his own while Peter was the guardian over John's.
