Susan Ursin Niemcewicz wrote from Ursino to John Kean, her grandson, addressed to Highland School near Cold Spring, Putnam County, NY. She encouraged John to study hard to fill the shoes of his late father Peter Philip James Kean and to be able to provide for his mother, Sarah Sabina Kean and sisters Julia Ursin Niemcewicz Kean and Christine Alexander William Kean.
