It includes a brief introduction and enrollment of full-time and part-time students in the six New Jersey State Colleges for academic years 1931, 1954, and 1963. Those colleges are Glassboro State College, Jersey City State College, Montclair State College, Newark State College, Paterson State College, and Trenton State College. Each college has a brief history (timeline), campus map, artist renderings or photographs of buildings, a list of degree programs, and a comparison of 1954 and January 1966.
