Gustavus Risberg in Philadelphia, PA wrote to Susan Kean, Elizabeth Town, NJ. Mr. Risberg resolved an issue over payments with Mr. Meredith but an issue with another and a bank remained unresolved. He discussed the death of William Lawrence. Risberg also apologizes for mentioning that his account was not fully balanced and that he expects it to be so once "the Negroes" repay him.
