Description

Gustavus Risberg wrote from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Susan Kean in Elizabethtown, New Jersey. Risberg informed Susan that he made all possible inquiries on her Turnpike and Canal Shares. The Turnpike Shares will take a year before any dividends arise as the road from which profits arise would not be completed until the fall. The Canal Shares were not in demand. Risberg asks Susan to let Mrs. Corvaisier know if he could be of any service. Extends well wishes to Susan and Peter.
