This conference brings together professionals committed to strengthening the space between opportunity and achievement in higher education. At Kean University, that work happens through intentional support, collaboration, and deep engagement with the communities we serve.
Kean University, together with faculty and community partners, helps create a connected learning ecosystem where students thrive. Through tutoring, research support, open access resources, and Community Engaged Learning (CEL), we link knowledge to real-world impact and open pathways to meaningful achievement.
We invite scholars, educators, librarians, and community organizations to examine the critical intersections between policy and practice, campus and community, and access and achievement. Through this inquiry, it calls for a more intentional and evidence-informed rethinking of the university’s role as an engine of opportunity—advancing equity, strengthening reciprocal community partnerships, and generating meaningful public impact.
Join us as we explore how open knowledge and collaborative partnerships can transform institutions into catalysts for equity, innovation, and community-centered learning.
