Theme: Enhancing Values of DEI in education through OER: Fostering Social Change across the K-20 Pipeline

Description: OER initiatives create a more equitable, inclusive educational experience for students(k-12 & higher education) by allowing for more adaptability and affordability. Many students are transitioning from NJ public education where items such as books, modules and computers are offered at little or no cost. This is a period of adjustment, as students have to financially support the cost for these items entering college or navigate/apply for financial assistance
