Peter Kean kept a journal during a trip from Ursino, Elizabethtown, NJ to Butternuts, Otsego County, NY. He was joined by Susan Ursin Niemcewicz, his mother, for part of the journey. Presumably, Sarah Sabina Kean, his wife, accompanied him but she is not directly mentioned.
