MOVING TOWARDS EQUITY, ACCESS AND INCLUSION
Kean University's inaugural OER conference is scheduled for March 29th and 30th. The conference is organized by a Committee that includes Kean's faculty and staff. The conference's main theme is " transforming and empowering learning communities through high-impact educational content and practices to advance equity, access, and inclusion for all." The conference will focus on OER foundations, practices, and communities.
This OER conference will energize new ways to teach and learn in our region, from K-12 through higher education. Kean aspires to establish a network of universities dedicated to OER content's co-development, to be made available through our Kean Digital Commons. This conference will allow participants to foster relationships with other Universities around the world to support OER efforts and develop OER content to enhance the availability of high-quality educational resources.
The conference is free and open to all students and the Kean community.
